Death toll in Zaporizhzhia rises to 12 following Russian attack

As a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, the death toll has risen to 12 people, with another 16 injured. Rescue operations and data verification are ongoing. This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, UNN reports.

Lubinets noted that civilians and a city that simply lives under the constant threat of shelling were once again under fire.
This is another targeted terror against the civilian population. Such actions have no justification and require accountability at the international level

Prior to this, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported nine dead and two wounded as a result of this strike. Currently, rescuers have extinguished all fire centers at the impact sites. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing, and all emergency services are working on the scene.
As a result of the shelling, a service station with more than 10 cars caught fire, as well as pallets on the territory of a private enterprise, the State Emergency Service reported.
