On the second day of the European Para Swimming Championships in Madeira, Ukrainian athletes demonstrated impressive achievements, winning 8 medals.

As a result, the paraswimmers won four gold and four bronze medals. Among the winners in individual competitions were Andriy Trusov, Veronika Korzhova, Yaroslav Semenenko and Iryna Poyda, representatives of different classes.
Ukrainian athletes won bronze medals thanks to impressive performances by Bohdan Hrynenko, Mykhailo Serbin and Yaroslav Denysenko, who demonstrated their skills at different distances and in different swimming styles.
No less impressive was the performance of the Ukrainian relay four, which won a bronze medal in the 4x50m freestyle relay. For this relay, it was particularly important to balance the team composition so that the sum of the athletes' classes did not exceed 20 points, and the Ukrainian pair of swimmers did this perfectly.
