A U.S. delegation led by CIA Director John Ratcliffe has arrived in the Cuban capital, Havana, amid tensions over Washington's fuel blockade of the island nation. This is reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

It is noted that U.S. President Donald Trump has been exerting pressure on Cuba since returning to office, and a few days ago stated that the two longtime adversaries are "going to talk." During the meeting, Cuban representatives emphasized that Cuba poses no threat to U.S. national security.
Both sides also underscored their interest in developing bilateral cooperation between law enforcement agencies in the interests of the security of both countries, as well as regional and international security
It is indicated that officials from both countries acknowledged earlier this year that they were holding talks, which appeared to have failed amid the ongoing U.S. fuel blockade.
