Following the deadly russian missile attack on Chernihiv, which killed 17 people and sent about 80 to hospitals, police have stepped up foot and car patrols on the streets to ensure safety and enforce the curfew.

Due to the growing threat and increased tension as a result of the enemy missile attack, Chernihiv police have stepped up security measures on the streets. In particular, the number of foot patrols and car patrols has been increased.
Police officers carry out round-the-clock patrols in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, including monitoring compliance with curfew restrictions.
