An additional episode may appear in the case of beating a man in a Poltava restaurant with the participation of a law enforcement officer, and law enforcement officers will conduct additional forensic examinations.

An additional episode may appear in the case of the beating of a man in a restaurant in Poltava with the participation of a law enforcement officer. This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation's communications adviser Tetiana Sapian on one of the Ukrainian TV channels, UNN reports.

Additional forensic examinations will be conducted, and based, in particular, on communication with the victim, we do not exclude that an additional episode will appear in this criminal proceeding, and the suspects will be served additional suspicions for the offenses they committed

- said Sapian.

When asked if it all started with sexual harassment of the girl, Sapian replied: "I think we will be able to discuss how everything happened and the chronology of events after all the participants in these shameful events have been interviewed.

Recall

On November 6, in Poltava, a conflictoccurred between visitors to a restaurant , which resulted in injuries to one of the men. The victim suffered a broken nose, concussion and blood in his kidneys. The incident occurred after the men were harassing a girl, and her boyfriend stood up for her.

The SBI detained three suspects who had beaten the victim. According to Tetyana Sapian, they were served with a notice of suspicion.

Among the defendants are a police officer from one of the district units of the region, as well as local "authorities". The police officer, who was on the scene during the conflict, has been suspended from duty for the duration of the internal investigation.
