Azerbaijani Ambassador Seymur Mardaliyev met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine and conveyed an invitation to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to attend the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference - COP29 in Azerbaijan.

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev. This was stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, reports UNN.

Details

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

Special attention was paid to Azerbaijan's participation in the Peace Formula, in particular the Global Peace Summit.

In addition, the diplomat handed over an invitation for the President of Ukraine to the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference - COP29.
