In early May, anticyclone Winfried will bring warming up to +22 degrees to Ukraine. On May 1st, night frosts and light rain are still possible.

At the beginning of May, meteorologists predict the Winfried anticyclone, which will bring mostly dry and very warm weather to a significant part of Europe. In Ukraine, the beginning of May will mark a transition from cold to warmth. This was reported by UNN with reference to meteorologist Natalka Didenko.

On Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, the maximum temperature in Ukraine will be +12 to +16 degrees, and in the west, in some places, +18 to +22 degrees, Didenko stated.
On Friday, May 1, it will be cold at night, +1 to +4 degrees, and frosts will continue. During the day, the air temperature will be +8 to +11 degrees, while in the south and northwest of Ukraine, it will be +10 to +13 degrees.
Rain will occur in some places in the north, center, and east of Ukraine. In the west and south, there will be no significant precipitation. In Kyiv on May 1, light rain is possible in places, and the daytime air temperature will be around +10 degrees. Over the weekend, May 2-3, it will become significantly warmer
