AB InBev Efes Ukraine implements social and humanitarian projects in Ukraine aimed at helping communities, with a special focus on the company's home regions of Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.
At the end of November 2022, the National Program "Save a Limb" was launched in Ukraine, organized by the international charitable Foundation "Health of the Ukrainian People" with the support of the Institute of Traumatology and and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Association of Orthopedic Traumatologists, reports UNN.
Over the next three years, the project it is planned to conduct up to 15 thousand operations for wounded Ukrainians with severe with severe injuries to their arms and legs. So far, more than 1000 free surgeries have been performed under this program.

Thanks to the company's partnership with the "Health of the Ukrainian People" charity foundation, the company will support surgeries on for injured limbs for compatriots in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions.
As part of the program, the charity foundation in particular, purchases external fixation devices for surgeries, plates, screws and other implants that are implanted into the bone. This allows to save limbs of the injured Ukrainians.
The program's Expert Council includes more than 60 of the best orthopedic traumatologists of Ukraine who work in most regions of the of the country. The program has created a register of health care workers and health care institutions health care facilities (regional, city, district and other hospitals) that deal with injuries of the limbs.
Any Ukrainian can become a member of the National Program "Save a Limb" program, any Ukrainian can become a member. To do this, you need to fill out the appropriate questionnaire on the the website of the Charitable Foundation "Health of the Ukrainian People", providing all the necessary data.
Among other humanitarian and social initiatives implemented by AB InBev Efes Ukraine over the past two years, include repeated purchases of food, water, medicines hygiene products and fuel for the transportation of humanitarian goods and to meet the to meet the needs of the residents of Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions, carried out at the request of charitable foundations and volunteers. In addition, the company provided 5 million cans of of clean drinking water to supply the de-occupied territories of Chernihiv Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson and other regions.
A separate area of support from the company is to help veterans, as the problem of their re-adaptation is an acute problem for Ukrainian business and society today. To this end, AB InBev Efes Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Veteran Hub Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at improving of human resources processes and development of high-quality and productive cooperation with with veteran employees.
The company has also recently supported a free training project "Business Incubator for Women Veterans and and their family members, initiated by the Chernihiv Regional Development Agency. region.
