A Ukrainian organized a Guinness record for 122,000 viewers and is now preparing a biohacking conference

Serial Ukrainian entrepreneur Serhii Petryk, whose team organized a Guinness World Records world record — 121,348 simultaneous viewers of a blockchain broadcast on YouTube — announced preparations for a major international conference on biohacking and preventive health, UNN reports.
The record was set on May 30, 2025. The broadcast lasted five hours in eight languages simultaneously. The verification process turned out to be tougher than expected: the Guinness World Records commission cut 80,000 viewers from the initial 200,000 due to technical criteria.
"We were sitting with the team in Thailand and watching an expert in London repeat in a cold voice: 'We are not counting these.' It was the most expensive math lesson of my life," Petryk recounts.
Preparation took five months, and the application for record registration alone cost $25,000. The award ceremony took place in Bangkok with over 2,000 guests. Among the special guests was Mike Tyson. The record is confirmed by an official Guinness World Records post on LinkedIn and recorded on the organization's official website.
The path from $300 to international conferences
38-year-old Petryk is from Dnipro. He graduated from the National Mining University with a degree in "geological exploration" — but never worked in his specialty for a single day. Instead, at 18, he went into marketing and sales, and his first earnings — $300 — he gave entirely to his mother, who raised two sons alone.
"I remember that moment to tears. Mom opened the envelope, looked at me, and cried. Not from joy — but from believing in me not in vain," he says.
Over more than twenty years of entrepreneurial activity, Petryk has experienced two bankruptcies, closed ten projects, and lost $100,000 of personal funds in the cryptocurrency market. But he also organized over 70 international conferences with a total audience of over 100,000 participants. The largest — New Tech Sphere 2024 — gathered 35,000 participants with simultaneous translation into three languages.
"If you've survived two bankruptcies, it's hard to scare you with the market," says the entrepreneur.
From crypto to health
Currently, Petryk is preparing a conference in the field of biohacking and preventive health with a planned audience of 10,000 to 100,000 viewers. His team, whose core has remained unchanged for over ten years, is also exploring new approaches to health diagnostics.
"While everyone is investing in Bitcoin, I am investing in human potential," says Petryk.
The entrepreneur is part of a global wave of Ukrainian founders who are building international businesses abroad — from Revolut and GitLab to DeHealth (Anna Bon), which built AI infrastructure for medical data in 80+ countries. The socio-economic movement Energy Nation calls such a diaspora the country's main asset — a global network capable of supporting the Ukrainian economy from anywhere in the world.
"We are a nation that does not stop. Even during the war, we continue to build," Petryk concludes.
