The Della Loya Hansen Foundation and the Kyiv Regional State Administration have started developing a concept for a modern rehabilitation hospital for military personnel and civilians in the Kyiv region.

The Dell Loy Hansen Foundation and the Kyiv Regional State Administration have begun working together to develop a concept for a modern rehabilitation hospital for military and civilians in Kyiv region.  The head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Ruslan Kravchenko agreed on this with Dell Loy Hansen during a meeting in the US state of Utah, UNN reports.

We are engaging an international coalition of architects and engineers of medical buildings. The facility will become a standard for future rehabilitation centers both in Ukraine and in other countries affected by the war. This modern center will meet both physical and psychological needs

- Kravchenko wrote on Facebook.

According to him,  the project requires considerable investment. Therefore, its implementation requires the involvement of a range of philanthropists, governmental and non-governmental organizations under the leadership of the Hansen Mission to Ukraine Foundation. The Foundation and its founder, Dell Loy Hansen, are reliable and financially responsible partners, Kravchenko noted.

He also announced another project to be implemented in Kyiv region. The Hansen Mission in Ukraine Charitable Foundation, together with external financial partners and in close cooperation with the Kyiv City State Administration, plans to rebuild 10 schools that were destroyed as a result of the full-scale invasion.

It is planned to arrange shelters in educational institutions. They will also reportedly consider completing the construction of educational institutions that began before the full-scale invasion.

One of the schools will be built in the village of Tarasivka in the Hansen Town by September 1, 2025. It will be a modern facility with an area of almost 6.5 thousand square meters, designed for 700 children. It will have 24 classrooms, a library, a gym, a shelter, two sports courts and a conference room.

In particular, we discussed with Mr. Hansen  the expansion  of the existing charitable reconstruction program "Phoenix". Initially, 30 houses in Andriivka and 30 houses in Moshchun are to be rebuilt . For each certificate received, the Restoration Fund provides an additional $30,000 for the reconstruction of the houses

- KODA chief said.

It is also planned to expand the program to include apartments. In particular, 77 low-income families with certificates for the purchase of new homes under the eVodnovnennya program will receive additional funding from the Foundation to buy modern renovated apartments in Sofiyivska Borshchahivka.

Kravchenko and representatives of the foundation visited Biomerics, which is one of the leaders in the production of medical equipment, in particular for surgical operations. In order to support Ukraine, the company will send a container with such equipment to medical institutions in Kyiv region in May this year. This is about 1 million units.

Kravchenko said that the American philanthropist started helping Ukrainians with targeted assistance.

Today, it implements huge complex programs in Ukraine. I am grateful to Mr. Hansen, who constantly emphasizes that such successful projects are implemented thanks to constant effective cooperation with the Kyiv Regional State Administration

- Kravchenko said.

According to him, the Hansen Mission in Ukraine Charitable Foundation is implementing 3 social projects in the Kyiv region. These are housing for internally displaced persons with a total capacity of 894 apartments.

In particular, Hansen Town was built in the village of Tarasivka. Two phases of housing have already been commissioned, with two more to be completed by the end of July and by the end of October this year. In the village of Sofiyivska Borshchahivka, 259 apartments were purchased, and in the village of Kolonshchyna, Chudo Mistechko  , a complex of individual houses for elderly IDPs, was built. The first stage is inhabited. Construction of the second phase for 110 families is underway.

What Dell Loy Hansen is doing for Ukraine is an example of humanity for the whole world. This is an example of one person bringing thousands of others back to life. And it gives hope for the future. And Kyiv Regional State Administration is involved in solving the following issues as much as possible

- Kravchenko emphasized.

He invited Dell Løj Hansen to the International Summit of Cities and Regions, which will be held soon in Kyiv.
