The accident occurred on the A2 highway in Tulce near Poznan. A bus carrying passengers crashed into the back of a truck.
According to the newspaper, there were seven passengers in the bus in addition to the driver. One of them was a Pole, the rest were citizens of Ukraine. It is alleged that only one of them was not seriously injured.
The 62-year-old driver (Ukrainian) died on the spot, the others were taken to the hospital. The condition of two victims is assessed as serious - an 83-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man.
It is noted that the victims had to be freed from the trapped structures of the damaged car. Firefighters, many ambulances and a rescue helicopter arrived at the scene.
