In Odesa, an intoxicated man was detained for shooting near a playground in the city center, the Patrol Police of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN writes.

"We have detained a man who likely fired shots in downtown Odesa," the report says.
Yesterday evening, patrol officers received a report of shots fired in one of the city's residential areas. According to the caller, an unknown man fired a shot into the air near a playground and headed towards a neighboring street.
Patrol officers at the scene established the suspect's description and soon identified and detained a man who matched the description.
"During a superficial search, an object resembling a pistol loaded with blank cartridges was found on him. The man was also in a state of alcohol intoxication," the patrol police stated.
An investigative-operational group was called to the scene, and the weapon was seized for forensic examination.
