Six people were killed and five others injured by lightning during traditional rituals in Masasi district, Tanzania.

Canon also added that lightning struck in the village of Maparagwe during a downpour and strong winds. According to him, the victims were taken to Ndanda Mission Hospital, where their condition improved.
