In Kyiv, a man opened fire at night near a residential building for entertainment and has been served with a notice of suspicion, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the capital reported on Wednesday, UNN writes.

The 39-year-old Kyiv resident, as stated, "was intoxicated while with a group of friends at night" on a street in the Dnipro district.
"While near a residential building, the perpetrator decided to show off in front of his companions - the man pulled out a pistol and fired two shots into the air, which seriously frightened the residents of the high-rise buildings," the report says.
Law enforcement officers detained the offender and seized a device for firing rubber bullets from him. The man has been served with a notice of suspicion for hooliganism.
