What is the movie about?
"Slava" is a historical-political thriller set in 1962 in the German city of Karlsruhe. KGB agent Bohdan Stashynsky — the perpetrator of the high-profile assassination of OUN leader Stepan Bandera — finds himself in the dock. However, Slava and Yaroslav Stetsko, along with their associates, decide to turn this court session into an unprecedented international tribunal against the entire Soviet system of political assassinations. To open the world's eyes to the Kremlin's terror, they will have to challenge not only the Soviet special services but also the indecisiveness of Western allies.
"This dramatic story is a mirror of our present: the world is changing, but the enemy and its cynical methods remain unchanged," the State Film Agency emphasized.
