227 combat engagements occurred at the front in a day, the enemy carried out 78 airstrikes - General Staff

On the front line over the past day, June 29, 227 combat engagements were recorded. The enemy carried out two missile strikes using three missiles and 78 air strikes, during which they dropped 237 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The occupiers used 9,618 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,835 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops, including 35 from multiple launch rocket systems. In the Sumy region, the enemy launched air strikes on the areas of Sumy, Luzhky, and Sukhodol, and used a missile strike on Hlukhiv.

Aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eleven areas of concentration of enemy personnel, one artillery system, two unmanned aerial vehicle control points, and three logistics warehouses.

The losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,350 people. One tank, six armored combat vehicles, 71 artillery systems, one air defense system, thirteen ground robotic complexes, 1,952 unmanned aerial vehicles, 492 units of automotive equipment, and two units of special equipment of the enemy were neutralized.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy stormed six times. At the same time, the aggressor carried out 77 shellings of positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian units in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction repelled fifteen enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance near Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Starytsia, and Vovchanski Khutory, as well as in the direction of Izbystske, Lyman, Okhrimivka, Shevyakivka, and Khatnie.

In the Kupiansk direction, one enemy attempt to attack towards Kivsharivka was recorded.

Attempts to penetrate the Ukrainian defense were repelled in the Lyman direction, where the occupiers attacked eleven times in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve and Lyman, as well as in the direction of Shyikivka, Novomykhailivka, and Novoselivka.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy carried out 23 assault actions, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Riznykivka, Zakitne, and Kryva Luka, as well as in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, and Prydniprovskyi directions over the past day, the enemy did not conduct assault actions.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the occupiers carried out 22 attacks. They attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, and Mykolaipillia, and also showed activity in the direction of Novopavlivka and Stepanivka.

A large number of assault actions were recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 22 attacks. The enemy showed activity near Rodynske, Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, and Serhiivka, as well as towards Matiasheve, Dobropillia, Kotlyne, Sofiivka, Vilne, Hannivka, Shevchenko, Udachne, Novopavlivka, and Biliakivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers attacked 31 times. The enemy tried to advance near Verkhnia Tersa, Novoselivka, and Huliaipilske, as well as towards Podorozhnie, Vozdvyzhivka, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Kopany, Pryvilne, Rivne, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance towards Shcherbaky and Bilohiria.
