Speaking at one of the sites affected by the devastating Russian attack on Kyiv, as rescuers were clearing debris, Zelenskyy said he still hopes for a visit by Kushner and Special Representative Steve Witkoff to Ukraine, despite the fact that U.S.-backed peace efforts to end the war have reached a dead end.

On the night of July 2, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy used 74 missiles of various types and 496 drones.
