Ukrainian police detained a man in Kremenchuk for overturning a Hanukkah menorah while intoxicated. He is facing charges of disorderly conduct.
In Kremenchuk, law enforcement officers detained a man who, while intoxicated, turned the Hanukkah menorah on its side, which was installed by representatives of the city's Jewish community on the occasion of Hanukkah, the National Police reported, UNN reports.

According to the National Police, on Independence Square near the Hanukkah menorah in Kremenchuk, unknown persons turned the Hanukkah menorah, which was installed by representatives of the city's Jewish community on the occasion of Hanukkah, on its side.
Law enforcement officers found that three intoxicated men were passing by the Hanukkah menorah.
"Passing by, one of the men turned the Hanukkah menorah on its side out of hooliganism," the report said.
The police detained the offender and drew up administrative materials under Article 173 (Disorderly Conduct) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine, which will be sent to court to bring him to legal responsibility.
