During the night of August 13, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes against enemy military facilities on its territory and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, the Nebo-U radar station was hit in Sevastopol.
The Nebo-U is a Russian long-range, three-coordinate radar station operating in the meter waveband, designed to detect and track aerial targets, including aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The strike on the station reduces the enemy’s ability to control airspace and detect aerial targets in a timely manner.
Ukrainian forces also struck:
- a UAV command post in the area of Myrne, Zaporizhzhia region;
- a fuel and lubricants depot in the area of Dovzhansk, Luhansk region;
- an ammunition depot in the area of Novyi Hai, Zaporizhzhia region;
- a logistics depot in the area of Kalanchak, Kherson region;
- a personnel concentration area in the area of Butyrky, Belgorod region of the russian federation.
The destruction of these facilities weakens the enemy’s capabilities, disrupts its logistical support, and reduces its ability to accumulate and use ammunition, equipment, and personnel. Operations against key targets are ongoing
