Ukraine's parliament plans to speed up consideration of a draft law on national minorities, the last requirement for EU membership negotiations, David Arakhamia said. The law is aimed at bringing Ukraine's legislation in line with EU standards and strengthening interethnic understanding.

On the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, a preparatory meeting was held regarding the draft law on the rights of national minorities, a document that brings Ukraine closer to the start of negotiations on EU membership, so it is planned to be considered as soon as possible.The draft law and its consideration were announced by the head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia, reports UNN.
