Ukraine has handed over a list of objects that cannot be struck - Zelensky
Kyiv • UNN
Ukraine and Russia have agreed not to strike energy infrastructure. Safe navigation in the Black Sea and prisoner exchanges are also being discussed.
The agreement not to strike infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia includes absolutely all facilities related to energy. Ukraine does not strike Russian energy facilities, and Russia does not strike Ukrainian ones. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, reports UNN.
We do not strike their energy, they do not strike our energy. I think there are a million questions and details, but today it sounds like each side does not use appropriate weapons against the energy of both sides. That's what it sounds like. As for the sea... we separately, just in case, handed over all our facilities. We handed over which facilities we believe cannot be struck. Regarding the sea, we are talking about silence at sea and free navigation. We are not talking about military targets, we are talking about cargo navigation as we have it, it should go. Free navigation of civilian vessels. It is not very well described in this declaration. That is, these are, let's say, the first steps. Let's see how it will work
He noted that silence at sea and free navigation means that it is impossible to strike at the infrastructure of ports.
There will be a lot of clarifications on these agreements
Let's add
As reported by the White House, the United States and Ukraine agreed to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea, touched upon the issue of prisoner exchange and the prohibition of attacks on energy facilities.
