U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has announced that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with him. UNN reports this with reference to Trump's statement.
"One of the things I want to do, and quickly, is meet with President Putin, who has said he wants to meet with me as soon as possible. We have to wait for that, but we have to stop this war," Trump emphasized.
Trump also reiterated that if he were president, there would be no war.
"This war is terrible (...) No one has ever seen anything like this. Millions of soldiers have already died. Millions. We see numbers that are just crazy. We have to stop it. It's senseless. This would never have happened if I were president. This war would never have happened," he said.
