"I didn't agree to anything. I agreed to a debate with Joe Biden," Trump said in a phone call with reporters on Tuesday. - "But I want to debate with her, and it's not going to be any different because they have the same policies. I think debates are important for the presidential race, really, you have to debate.
Trump said he was willing to take part in more than one debate with Harris and said he thought it was "important" to have a presidential debate.
Trump criticized ABC, the TV channel that plans to host the presidential debate on September 10, and said he was "not thrilled with ABC.
He said that he was particularly unhappy with the TV channel's coverage of Biden's withdrawal from the race, and said that they were trying to make Joe Biden a hero.
