Sergey Polunin, a native of the Kherson region, a laureate of the Russian President's Prize who received Russian citizenship in 2018, said he was going to move abroad, but he has not yet decided where exactly. But he noted that his “soul is not in the same place” and that “his time” in Russia “has passed.
The BBC reminds us that Polunin went to London to study at the Royal Ballet School and in 2009, at the age of 19, became the youngest premier in the history of the Royal Ballet.
