The National Police has solved 72 murders of civilians in Bucha committed by the occupiers. 34 Russians have been notified of suspicion, and 24 indictments have been sent to court.

The National Police reported that on the third anniversary of the occupation of Bucha, it was possible to solve 72 murders of civilians committed by Russian invaders, UNN reports with reference to the National Police.

Details

Law enforcement officers reported on the results of the work of police investigators in the investigation of crimes committed by Russian soldiers in Bucha. In total, during the period of 2024-2025, more than 2,500 Russians who were in Bucha were identified. Of these, more than 100 were directly involved in the commission of crimes.

72 murders committed by Russians have been solved. 34 Russians have been notified of suspicion of war crimes committed in Bucha 

- the police said in a statement.

Law enforcement officers also reported that they have already sent 24 indictments to court against Russians who committed war crimes in Bucha.

On March 31, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the city of Bucha from the Russians. As a result of the brutal terror of the invaders, hundreds of people died in the city during a month of occupation.
