Border guards in Odesa region detained nearly three dozen men who were trying to illegally get to Moldova's Transnistria region with the help of a Telegram channel administrator who received $4,000-$7,000 for each person they transported.

In Odesa region , officers of the Podilsky detachment detained almost three dozen men who were trying to illegally enter the Transnistrian region of Moldova. This was stated by the State Border Guard Service, UNN reports.

To realize their plan, the potential customers asked the administrator of the Telegram channel for help. In case of a successful transfer, the latter would have received from 4 to 7 thousand US dollars each to the crypto wallet

- said the State Border Guard Service.

The border guards add that the men got to the gathering point on their own - by train, by taxi, and some were even driven by women. From there, the travelers headed to the state border on foot, but the trek did not last long.

In one of the villages  of Podil district, border guards detained all the violators.

Reports on administrative offenses under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses were drawn up against the clients, and the cases were sent to court. The range of persons involved is being established, investigative actions are ongoing
