The prosecutor's office has brought a case against 10 people who promised profits from cryptocurrency investments. The fraudsters first paid interest and then stopped contacting investors.
A case of fraud under the guise of investing in cryptocurrencies has been brought to court: 10 people will be prosecuted for promising a 2-3% profit, receiving money and then ceasing communication with investors.

The suspects in the criminal organization, who posted offers to make a profit with cryptocurrency and, having received the money, stopped contacting depositors, will be brought to justice.
The indictment against 10 members of a criminal organization on the fact of organizing a fraudulent scheme related to the illegal acquisition of cryptocurrency (parts 1, 2 of Article 255, part 4 of Article 28, part 5 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is submitted to the court

The illegal scheme was organized by three men from Zhytomyr region. They also involved their friends who lived in different regions of Ukraine in the criminal organization. The group members posted ads in Telegram chats offering to make a profit by placing cryptocurrency on crypto exchanges.
Investors were persuaded to buy cryptocurrency and transfer it to the virtual wallet of the organizers of the fraudulent scheme. The criminals assured them that the invested amount would be returned with a profit of 2-3%.
In order to get customers to transfer as much money as possible, the organizers of the scheme first paid the promised interest to establish trust and show that the scheme was working. Later, the crypto fraudsters would stop communicating with the so-called investor.
