The Russian Federation promotes propaganda about the war in Ukraine through "Victory Day" exhibitions – CCD

An exhibition about Mariupol opened in New Delhi to justify Russian aggression. The CCD calls the event a tool of Kremlin disinformation and propaganda abroad.

The Kremlin, under the pretext of celebrating "Victory Day," continues to promote propaganda narratives abroad aimed at justifying the war against Ukraine. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of the National Security and Defense Council, according to UNN.
A photo exhibition titled "Mariupol — City of Military Glory" was opened at the "Russian House" in New Delhi. The exposition is built on a comparison of archival photographs from World War II with modern photos of occupied Mariupol from 2022–2024,
The Center emphasizes that in this way, Russian propaganda is trying to draw parallels between the fight against Nazism in the 20th century and the modern Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Such events are another tool of Russia's information warfare. The Kremlin uses them to misinform foreign audiences and create a basis for justifying the occupation of Ukrainian territories,
The CCD also added that through such exhibitions, Russia seeks to impose on the world the thesis of the alleged "historical continuity" of its war against Ukraine, although in reality, it is an act of aggression and a violation of international law.
