The Kremlin announced a temporary moratorium on strikes against Ukraine's energy infrastructure, which has allegedly been in effect since March 18. The decision is related to a conversation between dictator Putin and Trump.

The Kremlin stated that the "temporary moratorium" on strikes against Ukrainian energy facilities has already been in effect since March 18, when the conversation between US President Trump and dictator Putin took place. This is reported by Russian media, writes UNN.

"Yes, indeed, a temporary moratorium is in effect for 30 days, starting from March 18. It was on March 18 that the telephone conversation between the two presidents, Putin and Trump, took place. President Trump proposed to declare such a moratorium, and Putin agreed," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering a question about the moratorium on strikes against Ukraine's energy system.
He added that Putin's order regarding the moratorium "is in effect and is being implemented by the Russian armed forces."

A new meeting of the Ukrainian and American teams took place in Er-Riyad on the morning of March 25 after negotiations the day before between the US and Russia.
The US and Ukraine agreed to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea, touched upon the issue of prisoner exchange and the ban on strikes on energy facilities, the White House said on Tuesday following talks in Er-Riyad.
The Kremlin published an agreed list of Russian and Ukrainian facilities that fall under the temporary moratorium on strikes against the energy system. The list includes oil refineries, oil and gas pipelines and storage facilities, including pumping stations, infrastructure that produces and transmits electricity, including power plants, substations, transformers and distributors, nuclear power plants, as well as hydroelectric dams.
