European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the conclusion of ten agreements worth €100 billion under the SAFE program. 65% of components must be produced in the EU.

The European Union has already signed ten agreements under the SAFE defense program worth a total of €100 billion. This was announced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at the Defense Industry Forum within the NATO summit on Tuesday, reports a UNN correspondent.

She noted that the SAFE program provides support for joint procurement and the development of Europe's defense industry.
