Ukrainian units struck fuel tanks at the port of Yeisk, after which a fire broke out at the complex. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck fuel and lubricant storage tanks at the Yeysk oil-loading complex in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.

According to available information, on August 22, 2026, Ukrainian units struck fuel and lubricant storage tanks at the Yeysk oil-loading complex. Following the strike, a fire broke out on the premises of the complex, while information about the extent of the damage is still being уточнено.
The Yeysk oil-loading complex is part of the infrastructure of the seaport of Yeysk (Krasnodar Krai, Russia, Taganrog Bay of the Sea of Azov). It handles the receipt, storage, and loading of petroleum products onto maritime transport
According to the General Staff, the throughput capacity of the port’s cargo terminals is approximately 6.8 million tonnes of cargo per year, of which bulk cargo, including petroleum products, accounts for more than one million tonnes per year.
The facility is involved in supplying the Russian army. Operations against key enemy facilities are ongoing
