Two people are killed and ten injured in Turkey as a strong storm causes flooding; a yellow-orange severe weather warning has been issued in 76 cities across the country.

A storm in Turkey killed 2 people and injured 10 people, including 4 servicemen, officially reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Turkey (AFAD), reports UNN.

According to the the country's main meteorology department, yellow and orange warnings have been announced for 76 cities in Turkey.

After heavy rain and a storm in the Cınarcık region on the Marmara Sea coast, the water overflowed its banks and the sea "merged with the land". The sea also flooded the Gemlik district in Bursa province. 

Heavy rains and storms occurred in Izmir, and the sea overflowed in two districts. the sea overflowed its banks. According to the forecast of the General Directorate of Meteorology, there is little chance of the sea rising again, and the water will soon begin to recede.
