The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported Russia’s losses over the past day: 1,260 military personnel and 480 weapons and pieces of equipment. Russia’s total losses since the beginning of the war have reached more than 1.46 million people.

Russia’s total combat losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, through August 12, 2026, amount to approximately 1,461,660 servicemen.
Over the past day, Russian forces lost 7 armored combat vehicles, 60 artillery systems, 2 multiple-launch rocket systems, 1 air defense system, 13 ground robotic systems, 1,767 operational-tactical UAVs, 388 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 2 pieces of special equipment.
Overall, since the beginning of the war, the Russians have lost 12,259 tanks, 25,127 armored combat vehicles, 47,773 artillery systems, 2,022 multiple-launch rocket systems, and 1 56 air defense systems. Russia’s aviation has lost 439 aircraft and 354 helicopters.
