South Korean President Yun Seok-yol has proposed to establish a working-level consultative body with North Korea to discuss tensions between the countries and the resumption of economic cooperation. Reuters reports, UNN reports.

Yol emphasized that he is ready to start political and economic cooperation if North Korea "takes just one step" toward denuclearization.
We will start political and economic cooperation as soon as North Korea takes at least one step towards denuclearization. Dialogue and cooperation can lead to significant progress in inter-Korean relations
According to him, the launch of an “inter-Korean working group” can help ease tensions and resolve any issues, from economic cooperation to people-to-people exchanges and reunification of families separated by the 1950-53 Korean War.
