The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the issue of demobilizing certain categories of servicemen in the fall is directly linked to the implementation of reforms and mobilization capabilities. Details
These reforms are conceived precisely to ensure everything is realistic. The only question, let's say, is taking into account all those, let's say, peculiarities or problematic issues that may arise during the implementation of this reform. Preserving the necessary level of combat effectiveness of our Armed Forces, because, of course, the most trained servicemen with vast experience will be demobilized, and ensuring adequate replenishment of units with trained personnel of new rotations and new formations. That's what the issue is about
The official also reported that during the discussion, issues of social justice were also raised, for which relevant proposals have already been submitted. At the same time, he stressed that there are limitations related to the state's mobilization capabilities.
Well, and of course, in social justice, some points that were also discussed and for which relevant proposals have also been submitted. That is, I see that this is realistic. It's just that there are many, let's say, such limitations related to our mobilization capabilities. And this must be taken into account: how many we can mobilize to provide for certain categories that will be demobilized. So there will be certain limitations here
Reminder
By the end of the year, the gradual demobilization of servicemen who have served since 2014 and since 2022 will begin. First of all, this will apply to military personnel with the longest service years and the most time spent in combat.
