Ombudsman responds to man's death on way to training center: says Ukrainian was found fit, opened proceedings

On the way to the training center, a Ukrainian who had been recognized as fit for military service died, prompting the Human Rights Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets to open a human rights investigation and take personal control of the investigation into the circumstances of his death.
The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets reacted to the incident with the death of a man on the way to the training center, stating that according to the certificate of the Military Qualification Commission, the Ukrainian was found fit for military service, the Ombudsman opened proceedings, UNN reports.

He also said that representatives of the Ombudsman in Zakarpattia and Lviv regions will work to find out all the circumstances.
