A modern Revolution computed tomograph and a decontaminator sterilizer were installed in the KP "Odessa regional center for socially significant diseases". The equipment was purchased with the support of the Global Fund to improve diagnosis and treatment.
An important update has taken place in the KNP "Odessa regional center for socially significant diseases" — new high-tech equipment has been installed, which will significantly improve the quality of medical services in the region. This is reported by the Odessa regional state administration, reports UNN.

We are talking about the revolution CT scanner — one of the most modern devices that allows you to conduct fast and accurate diagnostics even in difficult cases. This technique is characterized by reduced radiation load, high image quality and versatility of application (oncology, neurology, Vascular Research, etc.). Sterilizer-decontaminator for medical waste, which meets international standards and contributes to the effective fight against infections, in particular tuberculosis. The project was implemented within the framework of international programs to combat COVID-19, HIV and tuberculosis with the financial support of the Global Fund and other partners.
"Soon all the equipment will be connected and put into operation. This is an important step in the development of the medical industry in the region. We continue to create all conditions for residents of the Odessa region to receive high - quality and affordable medical care," the Odessa regional State Administration reports.
The equipment was funded by grant programs aimed at strengthening the global health system.
