Russian troops shelled Chernihiv region, injuring a family, including a 4-year-old child. Local police assisted in their evacuation.

Russian army fired at the border of Chernihiv region. According to Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, civilians in the Semenivka community were wounded, UNN reports.

A family with a 4-year-old child was injured. The man suffered shrapnel wounds and was treated in a local hospital. His daughter is being transported to the regional hospital, where she is expected to undergo surgery. Fortunately, the 4-year-old grandson was not injured

According to the head of the UMA, the family came to visit a relative in a border village for the weekend and came under enemy fire when they left the house for the street.

Local policemen assisted in the evacuation of the victims.

"Russia is a terrorist. Terrorists must be destroyed," Chaus summarized.
