This was reported by UNN with reference to Kyiv Zoological Park.
It is snowing outside, but our nutria and Indian porcupines have cozy huts with fragrant hay. These animals do not fall into a hibernation, but they do not stray far from their huts either. Moreover, they are provided with a "courier" delivery of delicious lunches right "to the door
The menu of these animals is almost identical: fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs, nuts, cereal mixtures, boiled eggs, and many nutritious worms of several types.
In addition to these delicacies, the four-legged residents receive crushed vitamin and mineral supplements, edible chalk, and licking salt.
For the comfort of the animals, their homes are equipped with lighting, insulation, fresh twigs and different types of soil, which they love to dig in. You can see the new settlers at the Bear Continent KyivZoo
