In Vinnytsia region, two men were sentenced to 13 and 9 years in prison for crimes related to child pornography

A 45-year-old resident of Vinnytsia region was sentenced to 13 years, and a 57-year-old from Kyiv region to 9 years for crimes involving child pornography. The men stored over 500 files and forced a child to film their naked body.
Prosecutors of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi District Prosecutor's Office proved in court the guilt of a 45-year-old resident of Vinnytsia region and a 57-year-old resident of Kyiv region in crimes related to child pornography. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, writes UNN.
In court, prosecutors proved that a 45-year-old resident of Vinnytskyi district accumulated and stored over 500 files of child pornography during 2015-2025
In 2023, he began communicating online with a seven-year-old child, posing as a 17-year-old teenager. Subsequently, using psychological pressure and blackmail, he forced the child for two years to film parts of their naked body and send them to him.
It was also established that he distributed part of the prohibited content in closed groups in messengers. In particular, he exchanged such materials for a long time with a 57-year-old resident of Kyiv region, who was notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In November 2025, prosecutors sent an indictment to the court against both men.
On July 17, 2026, the district court passed a verdict on the accused. For the crimes committed, the resident of Vinnytsia region was sentenced to 13 years in prison, and his friend from Kyiv region to 9 years. Both are banned from working with children for three years.
In court, the men did not plead guilty.
