Ukrainian children will be motivated to achieve academic results and development in the "Mriya" application: for this purpose, an internal currency, gamification tools and bonuses from businesses have been provided. The relevant function was presented by Vice Prime Minister - Head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, as well as co-leaders of "Mriya" during a speech at the EdTech event from the educational ecosystem of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science, reports UNN.
In the "Mriya" application, children will receive sparks for each completed task and maintain a chain of activity - like in Duolingo. We have studied the best practices and adapted this mechanic to school education. It will help to form useful habits, consistency and regularity. Now children will be drawn in not by games, but by learning and development. This is not just gamification - it is a new culture of motivation for knowledge
He noted that soon completed tasks can also be sent to teachers for verification directly in the application.
The press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation said that in the "Mriya" application, children will have "Mriyky" - an internal currency for academic results, a shop with treasures - bonuses from Ukrainian businesses and virtual rewards for homework, which will help in a playful way to keep focus on regular homework, studying new topics and consolidating school knowledge.
"Mriyky" can be obtained for academic results and learning new things in the application and exchanged in the Shop for real incentives, such as tickets to the cinema, master classes, VR quests, programming courses, access to English speaking clubs, etc. "Mriyky" can be obtained in particular for watching educational videos and passing quizzes to consolidate knowledge - Kmitlyvoks. These are short quizzes on school and general topics, adapted for different ages, which were specially developed for schoolchildren in "Mriya"
Let us remind you
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the educational digital platform "Mriya" already covers 40 schools in six regions, and in 2025 its large-scale expansion is planned.
