Group selling child pornography abroad exposed in Dnipro

Law enforcement officers detained three people who organized the sale of child pornography involving a 12-year-old boy. The group earned about UAH 200 thousand in two months by selling the materials to foreigners via social media.
In Dnipro, Ukrainian law enforcement officers in cooperation with the US Department of Homeland Security exposed a woman who, together with her 18-year-old son and an acquaintance, organized the sale of pornography with the participation of the woman's other 12-year-old son. UNN reports this with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is reported that in cooperation with the units of the Department of National Security of the United States of America, three members of the group were exposed and notified of suspicion of distributing and selling child pornography (Part 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
A resident of Dnipro, who had previously been prosecuted, together with her 18-year-old son and an acquaintance, organized the sale of pornography with the participation of the woman's other 12-year-old son. They created a social media page and a closed Telegram channel where they searched for potential customers among foreigners.
After they paid the money, the suspects distributed pornographic photos and videos via messenger.
In the last two months alone, they earned about UAH 200 thousand from child pornography. The money received from the “business” was distributed among themselves.
During the searches of the residences, law enforcement officers seized photos and videos.
The suspects were detained. Pre-trial restraints have been imposed on them.
The child was removed from the dangerous environment for rehabilitation, the Prosecutor General's Office added.
