Fatal road accident in Dnipro: underage BMW passenger will be informed of suspicion

In Dnipro, a minor BMW passenger whose driver committed a fatal accident will be declared suspicious.
A minor passenger of a BMW car, in which a 19-year-old driver committed a fatal accident, will be informed of suspicion for failing to provide assistance to persons who were in a life-threatening condition. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Communications Department of the National Police of Ukraine Yulia Girdvilis on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.
"Investigators, together with prosecutors, signed a suspicion against a minor BMW passenger and now the stage of serving this suspicion continues. His actions are considered a crime under Article 136 of the Criminal Code – this is not providing assistance to persons in a life-threatening condition. That is, the actions took place without any help, without calling doctors for the victims," Girdvilis said.

The National Police also reportedthat as part of the investigation of criminal proceedings , the police established the route of the BMW car before the fatal accident was committed. Video recordings from surveillance cameras attached to the materials of the criminal proceedings were also installed. A number of examinations have been appointed, including molecular and genetic ones.

In Dnipro, the police detained a BMW driver who caused a fatal accident. As a result of the accident, a 10-year-old passenger of a Ford car was killed.
Subsequently, the 19-year-old BMW driver was informed of suspicion of committing an accident .
The police reportedthat the investigators sent a petition to the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the 19-year-old suspect.
