Euro sharply increases in value - exchange rates for April 15 from the NBU

The official dollar exchange rate rose to UAH 43.50, and the euro increased to UAH 51.33. On the interbank market, currency quotes are UAH 43.43-43.48 and UAH 51.25-51.30.
As of Wednesday, April 15, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate at 43.50 hryvnias per US dollar. The official exchange rate on Tuesday was 43.44 hryvnias per US dollar. The official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro will be 51.33. This is reported by UNN with reference to NBU data.

The official dollar exchange rate is: 43.4997 UAH (+6 kopecks) per dollar. The NBU also set the official euro exchange rate against the hryvnia at: 51.3253 UAH (+58 kopecks) per 1 euro. The official zloty exchange rate is: 12.0977 UAH (+17 kopecks) per 1 zloty.
According to data on specialized websites, as of 08:00 on Wednesday:
- in banks, the dollar is traded at 43.30-43.79 UAH, the euro at 50.75-51.45 UAH, the zloty at 11.80-12.40 UAH;
- on the interbank market, the rates are 43.43-43.48 UAH/dollar and 51.25-51.30 UAH/euro.

In March, inflation in Ukraine continued to rise, exceeding the forecast. The main reason is a sharp jump in fuel prices due to the war in the Middle East, the NBU reported in its macroeconomic and monetary review for April.
