On Friday, March 28, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation of Spain, José Manuel Albares, in Spain.

The parties discussed the situation in Ukraine, the issue of temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens, as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation between the countries

It is noted that Oleksiy Chernyshov especially emphasized the importance of initiatives aimed at integrating Ukrainians in Spain. He noted that this country is actively working in this direction, and cooperation is only strengthening.

Spain has been supporting us since the first days of the full-scale invasion, our people have found shelter and security here

Following the meeting, Oleksiy Chernyshov thanked Spain for the humanitarian, military, financial and political assistance provided to Ukraine.
