In a Vinnytsia lyceum, a teacher hit a 10th grade student because he did not react to comments. The police have opened criminal proceedings and are conducting investigations.

A video is circulating online showing a teacher hitting a student and using foul language towards him. It is stated that the footage was filmed in one of Vinnytsia's lyceums. Police have opened a criminal investigation into the incident, reports UNN.

Details

In the video circulating on social networks, a teacher, while in the classroom, presumably during a lesson, hits a student. At the same time, he speaks rudely to the boy.

Police reaction

The Vinnytsia Regional Police reported that the incident occurred in one of the lyceums of the Vinnytsia district. Law enforcement officers are investigating the conflict between the teacher and the student.

The incident occurred on April 1. The next day, juvenile police officers became aware of it and the information was immediately registered 

- said law enforcement officers.

It was established that the incident began because a 10th grade student did not respond to the teacher's remarks during the lesson. The man hit the teenager and spoke in a rude manner.

It is reported that in this case, under the procedural guidance of the Vinnytsia District Prosecutor's Office, the police are investigating criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 126 (beatings and torture) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

All participants have been interviewed. Investigative actions are ongoing. All circumstances are being established
