Court remanded former Deputy Head of the State Service for Special Communications under bail of UAH 10 million

The High Anti-Corruption Court remanded the former deputy head of the State Special Communications Service in custody with an alternative bail of UAH 10 million on suspicion of embezzlement of UAH 62 million.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has remanded in custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 10 million former Deputy Head of the State Special Communications Service, Deputy Viktor Zhora, who is a suspect in the case of embezzlement of over UAH 62 million. This was reported by UNN with reference to the SAPO.
It is reported that on November 27, at the request of the SAPO prosecutor, the HACC investigating judge imposed a preventive measure on the former Deputy Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP), who, together with other persons, is suspected of misappropriating public funds in the amount of more than UAH 62 million during the purchase of information technology tools by the State Service for the creation of a system of secure data registers.
The court granted the motion of the NABU detectives, agreed with the SAPO prosecutor, and imposed a preventive measure in the form of detention on the former deputy with an alternative of UAH 10 million bail and imposing procedural obligations in case of bail

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine have served suspicion notices on the head of the State Special Communications Service, his deputy and others of misappropriation of over UAH 62 million.
