Couple detained in Kyiv region for setting fire to cars of military and volunteers

A man and a woman were detained in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka for burning three vehicles of the military and volunteers. The suspects were acting on an order, having received a reward of USD 500.
Law enforcement officers have detained a man and a woman who burned the cars of military personnel and volunteers in the village of Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv region. UNN reports this with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the investigation, on July 29, in the village of Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, a man and a woman doused three cars with a flammable solution and set them on fire. One of them belonged to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and two were to be delivered by volunteers to the military.
They filmed their actions on a cell phone and sent the video to the "customer.
Earlier, the suspects were reportedly approached on Telegram by a man who offered to set fire to the vehicles of the Defense Forces. He promised a reward of $1,000 for such a "job" but actually paid the perpetrators half of it.
Currently, under the procedural supervision of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, they have been served a notice of suspicion on the fact of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Motions to impose preventive measures on the suspects have been sent to the court.
