Details
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office stated that on November 21, 2023, the HACCJ panel of judges granted the SAPO prosecutor's motion to transfer to the state revenue the bail of UAH 56 million, which was paid for the MP accused of misappropriating UAH 93 million of Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC funds.
Despite the fact that law enforcement agencies did not specify the name of the MP, is known it was Yaroslav Dubnevych.
The court ruled to transfer the funds to a special account of the NBU to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Addendum
The agency noted that on November 2, 2023, the HACCJ panel of judges granted the SAPO prosecutor's motion to put the MP on the international wanted list.
In addition, the SAPO reminded that the MP is a suspect in another criminal proceeding. On 10.10.2023, on behalf of the head of the SAPO, the prosecutor notified him of suspicion of organizing the seizure of state property (natural gas) worth more than UAH 2.1 billion and legalization of illegally obtained profits.
As a reminder
on November 13, MP Yaroslav Dubnevych who is suspected of misappropriating natural gas worth UAH 2.1 billion in absentia was chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention.
