Ukraine intends to raise the minimum wage again in the spring, following a recent 6% increase. The subsistence minimum and pensions also increased.

Ukraine is planning another minimum wage increase in the spring. This was announced on Wednesday by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting, UNN reports .  

On January 1, a number of social standards were updated in Ukraine. The minimum wage increased by 6% from UAH 6,700 to UAH 7,100. Another increase is planned for spring

The Prime Minister reminded that the subsistence minimum had increased by an average of 12% to UAH 2,920.

"The minimum pension in Ukraine has increased from UAH 2,093 to UAH 2,361. We plan to index pensions starting March 1," he said.
